, ARROGANCE AND CIGARETTES

DAY THREE
Targeted for an older youth audience, 16-19.

He walks with an utter confidence, with his nose stuck high in the air. He looks bitter, as though the whole world his against him, his dark eyebrows are raised- looking around at the people around him, as though they are his minions. His stride is long, and he holds hin tanned hands at his lips. Let's call him James, looking as though he is higher than life; and that nothing came come higher than himself. Some look at him with disgust, others greet him, sometimes with fear. He looks as though he would be wearing all leather, with a plain white tee shirt underneath the jacket, a lit cigarette hanging from his colored lips. What he does wear is a crested uniform shirt, and khaki pants; which definitley do not serve towards his own personality at all.

"You there,"

His dark brown eyes, which look black when they are not hit directly under the light of the crowded hallways, closed in on a younger member of the school, who looked fearful of this dark haired male, who looked as though he was in grade eleven or twelve. The male's eyes arched in question, as though the child knew what their answer should already be. Curling his upper lip, showing more leadership that he already looked as though he had, he bent over a little bit, still keeping close eye contact with the younger student.

"Would you mind grabbing my pencil by your foot?"

There it lay, the number two pencil. Here you learn that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, and somebody can look differently than they actually act.

  1. That is very true somebody can act different from how they appear. I liked at the beggining how you described him very well and you gave us the feeling that he was going to hurt somebody. Im geussing this happened at east york becuase he was wearing a crested shirt.

    good job

  2. I enjoyed your story, especially since your main character has the same name as me ;) I like the message that your story presents as well but I think you could clearly write the purpose at the beginning to add the the effect.
